Should kids have smartphones and social media?
Grant Wallace says it grinds his gears when his older two sons are on their smartphones, but he allows it when they work on videos or social media for Mooney Mart or other accounts. He notes that social media is how his kids talk to friends in group chats, similar to how AOL Instant Messenger worked years ago. He does not want to control his kids, just guide them and let them make their own decisions.
“If you guys are working on a video or doing something for the social media for Mooney Mart or one of the other accounts, then that's fine. They have all their friends on there with the social media and they're talking in the group chats and this is how they're hanging out. You don't want to control your kids, right? Yo”Grant Wallace
