How often should i flush my water heater in atlanta?
Brendon Ford says manufacturers recommend flushing your water heater at least once a year, but Your Handyman Atlanta does it twice a year for their monthly plan clients. Water heaters collect sediment from city water that creates a localized hot spot at the bottom of the tank, which rusts out the tank. Flushing uses only four or five gallons of water and can save you from replacing a multi thousand dollar appliance.

Brendon Ford says all their rates are transparent on yourhandymanatlanta.com. They charge 125 dollars per hour normally, but monthly plan subscribers get 100 dollar per hour labor when they are already on site, and 10 percent off other work throughout the month. There is a trip charge that varies by zip code, which you can look up on their website. In person estimates cost money but are credited toward any work they do.

How often should i change my hvac filter in atlanta?
Brendon Ford says you should change your HVAC filter every month, not every 60 or 90 days. He recommends running a cheap MERV 8 filter and changing it often instead of a high MERV allergen filter that restricts airflow. High restriction filters make the system work harder, increase energy bills, and shorten the lifespan of the unit. The filter is meant to protect the equipment, not purify your air.

Good solid work on two jobs for me so far! One was for my business hanging a wall mounted vending machine inside a local grill/bar. Second was repairing boards and priming and painting the backside of my house, plus moving rocks and dirt so water would not splash up on the boards anymore. These guys are on time, do what they say, and say what they do. Communication and scheduling are the best features; plus good workmanship!
Great work on adding sliding drawers to some kitchen cabinets. It was 2nd project, first being hanging artwork. Always on time (with a handy tracker!) and quality work.
